Overview
The Monteverde is a town in Costa Rica located in the Puntarenas Province, specifically in the Cordillera of Tilarán Mountain range. It’s situated in the Central Mountainous Region of the Country, near the Northern edge of Puntarenas. The area is known for its cloud forests and is a major ecotourism destination. The National Geography has called the Monteverde Cloud Forest “”the Jewel in the Crown of the cloud forest reserves””.
The Monteverde Cloud Forest always been the world’s famous, you will have a chance to visit one of the most unique ecosystems in the world. In Monteverde Cloud Forest you will experience the different levels of the forest while walking on the Sky Walk suspension bridges. It is a great way to see hummingbirds, ferns and orchids. You will also visit one of the biggest butterfly farms in Costa Rica, where you can see and learn many interested facts about the butterflies.
