Overview
Finca Verde Tour is located in the northern rainforest of Costa Rica owned by a local Costa Rican family that is functioning as an Eco-tourism project, is located in the small town of Bijagua de Upala. On this Tour you will be able to experience the serenity and wilderness of the rainforest. The family has been working hard and is trying to create a sustainable and viable approach to Organic Farming. During the small hike we might find sloths, lizards, hummingbirds, toucans, diverse types of snakes, mammals, insects, butterflies, also you will see different kinds of tropical plants, fruits and herbs. You will also visit a small butterfly garden where they reproduce rare butterflies, frogs and release them back into their natural habitats. Finca Verde is nestled into the valley of two volcanoes in the rainforest the Miravalles Volcano and the Tenorio Volcano.
