Overview
The Rio Celeste Waterfall Hike and Tenorio Volcano National Park, is set in the mountains rural northwestern Costa Rica near the town of Bijagua. You will be hiking in the middle of the closest Rainforest in the Guanacaste Region. The Rio Celeste and Waterfall is a breathtaking natural wonder that one has to see to believe, Rio Celeste translates to Light Blue River. The local legend has it that after God finished painting the sky he washed his paintbrushes in the river turning in the brilliant blue that fascinates us today.
