Overview
The Corobici River Float is going to allow you to admire nature as you float down the River on a rubber raft. You will experience sights of fauna and flora that are common in this area such as egrets, herons, mot mots, ospreys, a variety of iguanas and monkeys. All of you will enjoy a delicious natural snack while you float down the river. This is a great tour to see the wildlife.
Than, we will visit Las Pumas Rescue Center that is located just outside the small city of Cañas along the Inter-Americana Highway. Las Pumas Rescue Center started in the 1960s by Lilly Hagnauer, a Swiss environmentalist, it’s the largest shelter of its kind in Latin America. It houses big cats such as jaguars, jaguarundis, margays, ocelots, pumas plus a few deer, foxes, monkeys, parakeets, peccaries, toucans and other birds that were either orphaned or injured.
